Like all charities, the Kennair Educational Foundation relies on the generosity of donors to meet its goals and commitments. To read about our goals in more detail, please download the Project Summary. Our fundraising goals are focused on 6 areas, with specific targets for each.
Kennair Educational Foundation (Uganda) - To continue to entrench the Foundation's presence in Uganda by establishing formal offices. Target date for operations to commence, January 15th, 2010.
Akonye Kena - To establish, equip, and operate the Akonye Kena Training Centre in Gulu. Target date for operations to commence, February 1st, 2010.
KEF Academy - To commence phase 1 of the Academy development: land transfer, site survey, architectural drawing and costings. Target date for commencement, June 1, 2010.
Providing Bursaries to Students - To provide Bursaries for up to 50 students to attend secondary schools.
Community-Based Training Programs - To establish a Demonstration Farm to train youth groups in effective back-yard farming techniques. Target date of commencement, June 1, 2010.
Initiation of Burundi Expansion - To establish the Foundation, and the Akonye Kena project in Buye Diocese in Burundi. Target date of implementation, January 2011.
If 400 people are able to commit $50.00 per month by December 31, 2009, the Foundation CAN achieve its goals.
